Formulation: Ingredients and Research
L-Arginine
L- Arginine is a very important amino acid as it converts into the body into nitric oxide which increases vasodilatation and circulation. This is an advantage for athletes but also helps with testosterone levels and erectile dysfunction. The other main advantage if L-Arginine is that as a vasodilator it allows blood to circulate around the body easier and studies suggest helps with micro-circulation.
Other studies have shown that it can also reduce plaque build-up in arteries, reduce atherosclerosis and help to regulate high blood pressure. Further studies need to be conducted to discover the benefits of this wonderful amino acid.

Curcumin 95%
Curcumin is derived from the popular herb Tumeric. It has been sued for thousands of years in the Far East and in the Indian subcontinent as a herb and as a medicine. It has traditionally been drunk mixed with milk and added to food as a spice. It has and is still used as a poultice in fractures and serious wounds.
In recent years, Curcumin has become very popular in the West with dozens of brands and various claims. Curcumin is fat-soluble and is absorbed mainly in the gut hence many claims are simply just not true, Black pepper or black pepper extract allows curcumin to increase its absorption considerably as well as good fats.
Literally dozens of studies have demonstrated the cardiovascular and anti-inflammatory properties of curcumin.

L-Citrulline
L-Citrulline is sometimes called a non-essential amino acid. Your kidneys change L-citrulline into another amino acid called L-arginine and a chemical called nitric oxide.
These compounds are important to your heart and blood vessel health. They may also boost your immune system as they aid circulation and increase blood flow. This can make a considerable benefit for those with constricted arteries and a high lipid profile.

It has some very useful benefits ranging from improving cholesterol levels, cognitive process, can improve headaches as well as improve circulation. Vitamin B3 has been used in this product primarily to help with circulation and vasodilatation which can not only lower blood pressure but help with circulation. It must be noted that debate and controversy exists between the medical profession on the use of Niacin and especially the use of niacin with Statins.

Red yeast extract
Red yeast rice extract is a substance that’s extracted from rice that’s been fermented with a type of yeast called Monascus purpureus. These include a number of monacolins, most importantly monacolin K. It also contains sterols, isoflavones, and monounsaturated fatty acids, or “healthy fats.” Monacolin L is essentially the statin Lovastatin which is only available on prescription, hence the controversy whether it is a medicine or supplement.
Lovastatin medical dose starts at 20mg and the maximum this product contains is 10mg from a natural source. It should also be noted that higher doses in some patients may cause some liver damage.

Vitamin K1
Vitamin K is a group of structurally similar, fat-soluble vitamins found in foods and in dietary supplements. The human body requires vitamin K for the complete synthesis of certain proteins that are needed for blood coagulation or for controlling the binding of calcium in bones and other tissues. It is a very useful vitamin for general wellness and blood circulation. Many promising studies have been done on the benefits of Vitamin K1 and reducing cardiovascular disease.
